The first foreign language courses were opened in Narva in 1979 at the Palace of Culture of V. Gerasimov. The courses were led by Lidia Kobzeva who taught French and English in 8 different groups.
These courses were the prototype of the author's language school LIKOOL, which opened in 2001.
Today, 8 teachers work at the school, classes are conducted 7 days a week in 22 groups (not counting the project ones, and those involved in specialized programs).
More than 400 students are studying at the school at the same time in three departments (English, French, and German), which are adult, teenage and children's groups. An English club has been opened, where LIKOOL students come with pleasure to communicate in English and make new friends.
